Explore new opportunities in the paper chemical industry and look forward to the new direction of bio-based fully degradable materials. The 2020 (13th) China Paper Chemistry New Technology Exchange Conference will be held in Hangzhou
Time: 2020-10-29

On October 21-23, the "2020 (13th) China Paper Chemistry New Technology Exchange Conference" sponsored by China Paper Chemical Industry Association and co-organized by the National Paper Chemical Engineering Technology Research Center was held in Hangzhou Meiyuan Hotel. Participating representatives conducted in-depth discussions on the theme of "new opportunities and challenges in the paper chemical industry, new directions and development of bio-degradable materials".

The exchange meeting was opened by Mr. Zhao Wenyan, Chairman of China Paper Chemical Industry Association, and Mr. Lu Wei, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Association, and Mr. Xia Hualin, Honorary Vice Chairman, presided over.

Mr. Yao Xianping, director of the National Engineering Research Center for Paper Chemicals, and his team took the hazard of "white pollution" as an entry point, and brought materials that are expected to fully replace plastics-biomass-based fully degradable materials, nano-cellulose and other research and The delegates also discussed the application results. Mr. Lu Wenrong, the vice chairman of Zhejiang Papermaking Society/Association, introduced the operation and future development direction of the papermaking industry in Zhejiang Province, and put forward the new demand for chemicals in the papermaking industry. Professor Dai Hongqi from Nanjing Forestry University and Professor Tang Yanjun from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University also shared their research results. In addition, the exchange meeting also discussed topics such as "new water treatment technology", "decorative paper industry service platform", and "chemical export regulations".

On the 23rd, the delegates took a bus to Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City, visited the National Paper Chemical Engineering Technology Center and the Zhejiang Bio-based Degradable and Nano Material Manufacturing Innovation Center, and in the nano cellulose incubation production base and the research and development of fully degradable materials. The application pilot base and R&D products face-to-face to understand the new development of bio-based materials more intuitively.

At the exchange meeting, the delegates expressed their confidence in the development of the industry and regarded the crisis as an opportunity to think calmly and rationally about the future of the industry, make appropriate adjustments, and embark on a path of functional, green, and high-quality development.
