Led by Hangzhou Research Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., united with Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute, Hangshi Group, Jingxiu Environmental Protection, Dubai Technology, Oushiman Group, as well as other research institutes and enterprises, Zhejiang Biodegradable and Nano Materials Innovation Center (abbreviated as: Innovation Center) is a new type of industry-university-research innovation alliance with the strong support of governments at all levels of the country. Our Innovation Center is located at No. 168, Qianwu Road, Qingshanhu Science and Technology City, Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with Hangshi Technology Development (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. as the main operating body.

Now, our innovation center takes Yao Xianping, the first batch of special experts in Zhejiang Province, the winner of the special allowance of the State Council, and the director of the National Paper Chemical Engineering Technology Research Center as the chief expert, cooperate with four academicians (Chen Kefu, Ouyang Pingkai, Zhanghongjie and Ren Qilong) as an expert team, relyies on the six national innovation platform, garthers well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad (South China university of technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as 18 industry-university-research units in the industry. Our center has won more than 100 scientific and technological achievement awards at the international, provincial and municipal levels including the first and second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the first prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award, and has more than ten national key new products and national invention patents enjoy, thus we enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad.

 Based on Hangzhou Bay and radiating the Yangtze River Delta, we open arms to the whole of China. In response to the key needs of manufacturing industry's innovation and development in the key industry and key technical field of bio-based materials, we take bio-based full degradable materials and nano-materials as the main research directions, and actively carry out the research and industrialization in four major fields such as green preparation and application of bio-based nano cellulose, bio-based full degradable functional materials, starch-based materials, and high-value applications of modified lignin; we continuously break through the technical bottleneck of the green preparation and application of bio-based functional materials, focus on the R&D supply, transfer, diffusion, and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies and common key technologies, highlight the orientation of collaborative innovation, make full use of existing innovation resources and carriers, and complete the each link of innovation chain from technology development to transfer and diffusion to commercial application. We are committed to creating a cross-border collaborative innovation ecosystem, promoting the healthy development of the bio-based material industry, and building an internationally influential and competitive bio-based new material advanced manufacturing innovation center.
 

In accordance with the principles of comprehension, coordination and sustainable development, our Innovation Center plans to use three years to build a comprehensive "politics-industry-study-research-application" collaborative innovation system in the field of bio-based materials. Industrialization is preliminarily formed: the first set of nano cellulose green preparation pilot and industrialization demonstration lines in China will be built, reaching an annual output of 5,000 tons; a starch-based full degradable functional new material industrialization base with an annual output of 50,000 tons will be built.
